Mulberry Cobbler

1 stick butter
2 c fresh mulberries
juice of a lemon
2/3 c sugar
1 c flour
¼ c cream
½ c water
2 t vanilla
¼ t salt

Place butter in 8×5 baking dish in 375 oven until melted. Mix mulberries, lemon juice, and half of the sugar over heat until sugar dissolves. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over butter, then scoop berry mix over that. Bake at 375 for 1 hour. Eat with vanilla ice cream. Serves 8.
